What the heck is wrong with America? Who in their right mind would even consider Paris "I'll do anything to be a celebrity" Hilton for President? I'll admit, "She's Hot." Presidential, she's not. What's wrong with this idea? It could happen.
A new wave of candidates and celebrity is on the horizon that includes women. Paris hasn't done a darn thing except a bad porn and she went to jail. She's considered a leader in this generation next and she's clearly following a political path. Today's politicians wear acts of porn and jail sentences as badges of honor. Paris has an inside track and plenty of money to get it done. Another video could do the trick. Taking her policy seriously could lead to dire consequences.
The energy policy she touts is a disaster. She splits the baby on Obama's and McCain's policies and stands for nothing. More nuclear waste with no where to put it is Al Qaeda's answer to a bright and glowing future for America. Did Paris consider the impact of putting all of America's nuclear waste in Las Vegas? I don't think so. Did she consider the dangers of shipping this material through the small towns of America and Amtrack's record of rail safety? Paris is no politician and "The Old Guy" is blowing it too. The idea is worse than having Cindy McCain serve as "Miss Buffalo Chip." It's Buffalo dung and you don't have to live in Las Vegas to smell it. Who would place all of America's nuclear waste on an active earthquake faultline?
In short, Paris has a small chance to be President if the current trends hold up. She has plenty of money. She is primed for a sex scandal. She's also a woman who can overcome the worst scandal and stay "Hot." Paris is Hillary Clinton without the baggage of Bill. If we start taking Paris seriously in my opinion it's clearly a sign of the times. The Apocolypse must be just around the corner. The Old Guy is proudly singing, "Bomb Iran" and he's still hanging around in the polls. The endless occupation of Iraq, more nuclear waste, Miss Buffalo Chip, and President Paris are all strong reasons for us to debate and embrace change.
