Close your eyes and imagine what seems to be impossible? Somehow on Earth, we found Osama Bin Laden and we brought him in alive. That would be amazing, but what should we do next? Is there a court in the world where he could be given a fair trial? Who would Osama implicate in his tales of terror? How did we capture his cell phone at Tora Bora? Where has he been hiding for all these years? Should we read him his “Miranda Rights?”
What happened to the concept of “Innocent until proven guilty?” Does a loose association with an unknown terrorist group instantly deny or trump due process? Who is the judge, jury and or the person in charge of the secret evidence being used to prosecute the War on Terror? What happens to the justice system and the International Courts if we deny due process? How soon will it be before an American is tried for war crimes without due process?
Like it or not, if Bin Laden were found alive he would be given due process to protect the process called justice. The sad reality in this hypothetical situation is “Bin Laden has little or no chance of being found alive.” With all the secrets remaining concerning that horrific attack and all the raw emotion that still exists, he couldn’t get a fair trial anywhere in America. Unless China or Russia found him, there’s little or no chance for his survival, trial, or his story being shared with the world. What about the guilty guys already in Gitmo? It really doesn’t matter if they are given a right to remain silent now because we admitted they were tortured. They can’t get a fair trial so why waste America’s time pretending? Where will the military executions be held and will it be on network television or just cable? Justice for all doesn’t apply in a world where everywhere is a battlefield.

What commentary? Are you telling me that Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity combined didn’t beat me to this one? The GOP is betting on military executions as the backbone for their rise to power again. It’s a “Slam Dunk” because that’s the only thing that can come after “Waterboarding.” Keeping Gitmo open provides an option that keeps the hope of seeing them hang alive. Like there’s a chance they could be found “Not Guilty” at the Hague.

Every act of stupidity perpertrated against the United States isn’t automatically an act of war. If this were true then we would be admitting we are fighting a “Holy War” against all Muslims. That would be stupid. Why should we “Mirandize” these “Jihidiots?” We are all innocent until proven guilty or we are all at war and anything goes. That’s total insanity and I’d rather give one idiot his rights and due process than to see them all taken away. Respecting people just isn’t in the nature of the GOP. They don’t get it because they don’t give respect to others.

I think he doth protest too much. I’m talking about former VP Deadeye Dick Cheney. It’s almost as if he doesn’t want us to find Bin Laden alive because he’s afraid of what Bin Laden’s testimony may implicate? An admission of guilt would not be final in any court of law, but it’s enough in a military court now isn’t it. I thought we wanted to round up the entire gang? Wouldn’t Bin Laden’s testimony be worth the price of admission? It would be entertaining and clear up all speculation or would it? It’s time for them to leave again. Cheney could be giving aide and comfort through his stupid political commentary. Certainly, giving them “Miranda Rights” and hearing the testimony would be priceless. We can still “Waterboard” the group before we hang him.

The Obama Administration seems to be getting “Cold Feet” when it comes to doing the right thing on Terrorism. Let’s define the term war? It’s when two or more nations do terrible things killing innocent people because their politicians can’t agree to use diplomacy. Is what happened on 9-11 an act of war or an act of stupidity? It’s an act of war that was successful because of our stupidity. Where are the two nations? We blamed Iraq and that wasn’t quite true. We tracked the Jihidiots to Afghanistan, but Afghanistan isn’t at war with US. If two nations are not at war then this is a criminal act of stupidity where we paid insurance to cover the losses. Does Insurance pay for acts of war? Somebody is really screwing up trying to have it both ways.

This week the GOP is eating so much bird I think it’s “Thanksgiving” all over. The bird they happen to be eating is “Crow.” Tastes just like “Chicken.” We captured another Top Taliban Leader and did we “Mirandize” him or “Waterboard” him? Does it really matter if we captured his cell phone before anyone else knows it’s missing? Some information speaks for itself. Other information can be obtained by any means, but it’s never reliable and it lowers us. The GOP is learning the difference between a terrorist and a patriot. Way to Go Joe!

I’ve got to give credit to Pakistan and the strong effort to find the bad guys since Bush and Mushariff left office. Do we need to “Mirandize” these thugs? They just found Adam Gadan and he needs to be read his rights. He’s been speaking for so long there may be nothing left for him to say, but if we don’t respect his right we could lose ours. There is no harm in Mirandizing these thugs. The problem we have is we take pictures of CIA people and soldiers torturing them. That’s stupid policy. More stupid than protecting and defending the Constitution.
