Is Brad Pitt good-looking ?? Well, I’m going to say NO ,because I’m a man, but A LOT of women will tell you that he is. But how come some people are beautiful, and some aren’t ? Can Susan Boyle be more attractive than Pitt ?? Actually, it’s juslt like about paintings. Some people find that the famous frame ‘Mona Lisa’ of Léonard de Vinci is beautiful, but I don’t. However, I do like ‘Guernica’ of Picasso. What about you ?? Everybody find polar bears beautiful. But why ?? It’s pretty the same about human beings. Our ‘tastes’ are determined by our social conditions. People ‘teach’ us what is beautiful and what isn’t. We aren’t free to judge by ourselves. We live in a world in which beauty represents the success.
NOTHING is born pretty. Beauty depends of our judgment. A polar bear is beautiful because we say that he is. The ‘thing’ needs our recognition to be beautiful/ugly. It can look a little bit stupid, but that’s the way it works. Another exemple : a guy loves a girl, he’ll find her pretty, but his mates may find her ‘normal’. Got the picture ? So, if today we decide that Susan Boyle IS more beautiful than Brad Pitt, she will BE !
