Fighting With Words

Posted on 12 January 2010 by Baco

Let me spellout why fighting words still work so well…”Victimology.” Yes, I said it, “Politics is all about Victimology.” The squeaky wheel gets the grease and the greatest victim gets the cash. Oh no? How in the heck did Bank CEOs get a bailout and a bonus? They cried “Victim” and played our politicians like a fiddle.

In America, some of us are conditioned to help the weak, tired, and poor. We call this group of people “Liberals and Democrats.” On the other side of the political isle, some of us feed off the tired group huddled in masses. We call this group “Conservatives and the GOP.” Victimology works because America was built on inequity caused by good and evil. Some people in America still feel guilt while some are totally selfish, uncaring and heartless. Which is good and which side is evil? Heartlessness seems to be getting paid. This is the sad state of our politics, our legal system, and our economics. It is governed by a new “Golden Rule” simply stated, “Money talks.”

As victims cry out for justice, it sets a natural chain of events into motion. One side takes on Liberal arguments in favor of bringing justice to the victims. Conversely, the Conservatives scream, “Shoot Them.” We see the debate played out 24/7 on cable. We create false heroes. We empower a few to speak for each side and for both sides to no end. These “Talking Heads” don’t care about the outcome just as long as the check clears from CNN, MSNBC, Fox or the dinosaur channels. We see the debates spiral down into a game of “The Dozens.” Every night it’s the same thing. Your Mama is so poor. Your Father is so Black. Your Sister is so stank. You expect them to get justice if none of them can get welfare? Like hitting the jackpot for a Negro is welfare? This debate has become “The Negro Dialect.” Master it and become a millionaire like Chris Rock, Richard Pryor and Dave Chappelle. Sing the blues, rap, or go political and you get to join the GOP. Victimology is big business because it is the status quo.

In our paralysis, we grow tired of the baffoons. We fail to complete a fair analysis of the actual problem. Was justice delayed and or denied? Who cares? It’s like watching Jerry Springer. Do these “Victims” actually deserve justice or the physical and verbal beatdowns shared on television? The Conservative argument and evil prevails. We are just throwing away hard earned money on these “Porch Monkies.” Why should I give them my tax dollars as welfare? We’ve heard these arguments in public and private conversations. In private, they are far worse. Excuse me for using a “Fighting Word” but I needed one for effect. We are stuck fighting the system for crumbs as the rich now game the system for trillions. Justice in America now depends on the public conception of our worth or the impending doom fairness could cause.” We’ve played the game so long stereotypes are seen by some as absolute truths.

In summary, I am whatever you say I am. The rapper Eminem almost got it right. If you say, “I’m not worthy” all that I can get is poetic justice? That’s the Negro dialect. If I’m too dark, if I speak Ebonically, if I speak out of turn, or I challenge the system for basic justice; I automatically lose? There is no such thing as justice for all. Justice is for “Just Us.” Fighting words still work because they are the backdoor to the court house. Say the magic word and see the doors to the court instantly fly open. Don’t believe me? Say one bad word about Israel and see what happens? Negroes still go to the back of the bus and everyone else is the “New Negro.”

A true victim will only be a victim for a short while. Most “victims” strive to stay “victims” because it is easier that way. Everybody is a victim in his or her on mind whether rich or poor, black or white. I myself refuse to be a victim.

Excuse me for the strong emotional outburst “Affable.” I got a little excited as the nation got closer to discovering me. I’m not a victim. I was selected to be left behind because God knows I wouldn’t take humiliation sitting down. I’ve been in “Bacodebus” for so long screaming people have lost track of my work. I did all this and I can prove it. The media knows the truth, but they are trying to find a way to spin it. John Edwards is a good man. Cancer is a bitch.
