Bowl Eligibility Watchout List

Posted on 13 November 2009 by Baco

I’m not going to baffle you with brain teasers. I’m not very good at picking winners and this is all in fun. I see Temple, Cinn, Virginia, Northwestern, Syracuse, Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Texas, Tennessee, Kansas, and UCLA having a good weekend.

Struggling, I see Boise State, TCU, Air Force, Nevada, Notre Dame, USC, Florida State and LSU. Why will they struggle? They are playing teams with hopes of bigger bowls. It’s time to start “blowing people away.” Division foes can “Take one for the Team” and get 6 eligible or more. Watchout. It happens every year and we still accept the same old, same old BCS.

Keeping my eye strictly on the Bowl Eligibility status and the impact of certain games on the selections, I’d have to watchout for Duke, Kansas, Conn, UAB, Wyoming, Nevada Reno, Hawaii, Florida St, Illinois and Notre Dame. The big game to watch is Boise vs. Nevada because Nevada is undefeated in their division too. Hawaii is playing Navy late for a Bowl game on the island.
